ACCV2009 Call for Demos
The Ninth Asian Conference on Computer Vision 2009 (ACCV2009) will include a demo session, with the purpose of collecting participants to the conference to demonstrate ｀live' their contributions on computer vision technologies and applications. The live demos provide a platform for presenters to give a flavor of real-life applications to show the success of computer vision and to discover the relationship between computer vision and our daily life.
Research prototypes as well as commercial products are very welcome. However, it is worth emphasizing that ACCV2009 is not a forum for marketing or sales of products. Presenters are expected to understand the system being demonstrated and explain the technical contributions of the system to the ACCV2009 audiences. We welcome contributions that are associated with papers that appear in the main conference and workshops, the updated demonstrations of technical contributions that have been or will be presented in previous computer vision conferences and other related venues.
A demonstration submission requires only an extended abstract of (max) 2 pages that gives a technical description of the proposed demo as well as special requirements (other than a demo booth/table). The format of the extended abstract should follow that of main conference articles. For details, please refer to http://www.accv2009.org/ACCV2009/Online%20Submission.html
The prospective demonstrated are strongly encouraged to submit supporting materials, e.g., videos, which illustrate the proposed demonstrations. Please understand that it is essential that at least one of the presenters is required to register the conference.
ACCV2009 will provide a table and two chairs for each demo. If you have special requirements please contact directly the demo chair Professor Dacheng Tao ( email@example.com ) and Professor Jiangbin Zheng ( firstname.lastname@example.org ).
Please email your extended abstract to Professor Dacheng Tao ( email@example.com ) and Professor Jiangbin Zheng ( firstname.lastname@example.org ).
Please provide a link for your supporting materials, e.g., videos.
