研究方向

机器视觉 Machine Vision


机器视觉方向充分发挥数学、计算机和电子等多学科交叉的综合优势,注重研究视觉信息处理的新理论、新方法和新技术,进而设计具有实用意义的视觉信息处理原型系统。
该方向的主要研究内容包括:图像处理、图像与视频压缩、模式识别和机器学习、三维视觉信息处理。主要应用领域包括:数字文化遗产、生物特征识别、图像数据压缩和管理。
机器视觉方向在过去二十年中,取得了一系列的创新性成果。重点成果有指纹识别技术、整数小波变换技术等。指纹识别技术获得国家科技进步二等奖,已经广泛应用于我国的公安部门,协助破获了大量的案件;整数小波变换技术被国际图像压缩标准JPEG2000所采用,成为标准的一部分。
近五年来,根据机器视觉的发展需要,增加了三维视觉信息处理的研究内容,使研究方向进一步完善,研究团队得到良好的发展,取得了一系列新成果,在国际学术界产生了一定的影响。具体包括:
1) 发表了一批高水平的国际权威期刊论文和国际会议论文。
2) 获得发明专利授权3项,待授权3项。
3) 完成和承担了一批国家级的科研课题。
4) 中青年人才快速成长为科研的骨干力量。

机器听觉 Machine Audition

机器听觉方向充分发挥数学、计算机、电子学、语音学、语言学以及认知科学等多学科交叉的综合优势,在深入理解听感知机理、汉语语音学和语言学规律和特点基础上,围绕计算机听觉、语音信号处理、口语信息处理、自然语言处理、智能人机交互等领域的若干科学问题,注重研究听觉信息处理的新理论、新方法和新技术,开展了一系列基础研究与应用基础研究。
该方向的主要研究内容包括:为适应不同的噪声应用环境,开展了声源定位与跟踪、单耳和双耳的计算听觉场景分析的研究工作;在机器语音识别和合成方面,重点开展基础标注语音数据库建设、语音韵律统计模型、大词汇连续语音识别、语种识别、说话人识别以及语音合成;在自然语言处理方面,开展了统计语言模型及领域语言模型、智能信息检索、统计汉-英机器翻译,最终实现一个融合多层语言学知识的自然语言理解框架。
机器听觉方向在过去二十年中,取得了一系列的创新性成果。先后承担国家级、省部级等各类科研项目40余项,包括国家重大基础研究发展规划(973)课题、国家高技术研究发展计划(863)项目、攀登计划项目、国家自然科学基金重点项目、国家科技攻关项目、教育部“新世纪优秀人才”计划项目、北京市自然科学基金项目等。
近年来,发表了一批高水平的国际国内权威期刊和国际学术会议论文,在国际和国内学术评测中多次取得优异的成绩,申请国家发明专利多项。

智能信息系统 Intelligence Information Systems

智能与多媒体信息系统研究室主要在计算智能、智能分析与知识发现、智能信息系统三个层面开展研究工作,同时充分发挥多学科交叉和综合的优势,以多媒体数据为对象,结合数据库、知识发现、基于内容信息检索等领域的理论、方法和技术,开展多媒体信息的集成、分析处理及服务研究。现有研究人员13名,其中教授(博导)5名,副教授3名,讲师3名,博士后2名。学术带头人何新贵院士长期从事计算机软件和人工智能的理论研究和工程实践工作,在模糊理论、知识处理和数据库等方面做出了具有创造性和系统性的贡献。主要研究方向 Main Research Directions
 计算智能:过程神经网络、进化计算和复杂系统建模研究。
 智能分析与知识发现:研究人工智能技术的各种方法和数据仓库、联机分析处理、数据挖掘、时空信息处理,并应用于金融、电信等国民经济重要领域。
 智能与多媒体信息系统:Web环境下的信息处理、Web信息系统自动化构建环境、数字图书馆/博物馆以及无线传感器网络研究等。

视觉与听觉的生理学和心理学基础Physiology and Psychology for Machine Perception


视觉与听觉的生理学和心理学基础方向充分发挥生理学、心理学、认知科学、神经科学与信息科学等多学科交叉的综合优势,围绕视觉知觉组织、听觉知觉组织、言语可懂度以及听力康复等若干科学问题,开展视觉与听觉神经生理学、心理物理和心理声学、心理生理ERP、动物视听觉行为学等一系列基础研究工作,最终为机器视觉和机器听觉的建模研究提供新的理论基础。
该方向的主要研究内容包括:汉语英语听感知差异研究;空间分离对能量掩蔽和信息掩蔽的释放作用,启动效应对信息掩蔽的释放作用;言语可懂度理论及可懂度计算模型,基于听知觉组织的汉语言语可懂度计算模型;听力损伤主客观评价方法及康复预测模型,针对汉语的数字助听器及人工耳蜗语音处理策略。
该方向在过去二十年中,取得了一系列的创新性成果。已承担国家级、省部级等各类科研项目10余项,包括攀登计划项目、国家自然科学基金重点项目、教育部“新世纪优秀人才”计划项目等。
近年来,发表了一批高水平的国际国内权威期刊和国际学术会议论文,申请国家发明专利6项。
